Sanding pitches – loading, spreading and matting in sand

Verti drain pitches prior to sanding – to shatter and aerate the surface to allow moisture and air to the roots

Apply Sport special seed rejuvenating rye grasses to have them stitched into the surface in the badly worn areas of pitches

To stitch in the seed, they would be using a Mumby star seeder, this is the only one of its kind in Ireland, and does 1100 slits a square metre.

Feed pitches 4 times a year each season Spring / Summer / Autumn and Winter

Spray any weeds present Repair goal mouths with new sod or seed area
